Recruitment Drive Saturday, 11 May 2024 10.00 am to 12 noon

Marine Rescue Jurien Bay will be holding a recruitment drive to encourage the local community to become marine rescue volunteers.  Details are:

Date:      Saturday, 11 May 2024 from 10.00 am to 12 noon.  

Venue:   Marine Rescue Tower Building, 1 Breakwater Drive, at the Jurien Bay Marina.   We are the last building located at the end of the road next to the Department of Fisheries.

Come along and have a chat to our crew, skippers and radio operators and find out the “ins” and “outs” of becoming a volunteer with our Group.   You will have a tour of our facilities which includes our newly remodeled, spacious radio room and also view our two vessels – Rescue 1 “Ocean Watch” and Rescue 2 “Bay Watch”.  Our crew and skippers will be “on deck” to explain the various features and capabilities of both vessels.
