Marine Rescue Jurien Bay held their Annual General Meeting on Sunday, 27 October 2024, and it was very well attended by our volunteers - thank you all for your support!
Thank you to our amazing DFES District Officer, Marine-Midwest Gascoyne, Simon Miller and Superintendent Mark Bowen who made time in their VERY busy schedule to attend our AGM and present service medals to our volunteers - thank you so much!
CONGRATULATIONS to our long serving members Arthur 'Riff' Reeve and James Livingstone on receiving their National Medals and 15 year Service Medallions - so very well deserved for their many years of dedication to Marine Rescue.
The National Medal recognises long and diligent service, by members of recognised Government and voluntary organisations, who risk their lives or safety to protect or assist the community in enforcement of the law or in times of emergency or natural disaster.
Congratulations also to Sharon Stiles and Julie Triffitt on receiving their 10 Year Service Medal Set. A wonderful achievement!!!
Margaret Bown (left) and Jan Ackland (right) were presented with their 5 Year Service Medallion! Congratulations!! Thank you to each and every one of our amazing volunteers who give up their time so willingly to help keep our boating community safe - we are quite a team!
